2025 Fantasy Outlook

After dominating at Louisville over her first three seasons in college, Van Lith transferred to LSU for the 2023-24 season and saw her production decrease. However, she transferred to TCU last year and bounced back while seeing time at point guard, and she helped lead the Horned Frogs to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Van Lith was also part of the 3x3 Olympic squad for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, experience that could help her as she transitions to the WNBA. While the 23-year-old has had success on several different stages, she'll likely have an opportunity to learn and develop early in her WNBA career after the Sky acquired Courtney Vandersloot and Ariel Atkins during the offseason. Van Lith was selected by the Sky with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday, Mitchell Hansen of CanisHoopus.com reports.

ANALYSIS
Van Lith spent the first three years of her collegiate career at Louisville but transferred to LSU for the 2023-24 season and spent last year with TCU. Over her five seasons between the three programs, she averaged 15.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33.1 minutes per game, and she was part of the 3x3 squad for Team USA at the Paris Olympics that took home a bronze medal last season. She'll join LSU teammate Angel Reese in Chicago, and Van Lith will have an opportunity to develop behind veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot as a rookie. Van Lith was an impactful player for multiple programs in college and could have to settle for a bench role early in her WNBA career, but it wouldn't be surprising to see her carve out a role in Chicago at some point.
