Reds vs Cubs: Expert Betting Tips and Analysis
Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs: Over 7.0 total runs, -125 @ bet365
The Cubs have cooled off a bit in recent weeks, going just 5-5 over their last 10 games, a stretch that has them in second place in the NL Central. They're two games behind the Milwaukee Brewers, who have the best record in all of baseball right now. However, that doesn't mean the Cubs aren't getting the job done on offense. They're tied with the New York Yankees for the most runs scored in the majors this season with 579, and their +115 run differential is the second-best in the league -- trailing the Brewers.
The Cubs face the Reds, a team that has gone 6-4 over their last 10, and Cincinnati is also one of five teams in the National League that have scored over 500 runs thus far. With Cubs RHP Michael Soroka and Reds LHP Nick Lodolo on the mound, don't be surprised if this game ends up having more than seven total runs. Both offenses are among the most prolific in the NL.

Yankees vs Rangers: Monday Night Baseball Insights
New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers: Over 7.5 total runs, -110 @ FanDuel
The Yankees have been slumping in recent weeks and have fallen all the way to third place in the AL East despite owning a 60-52 record. That's mainly because they've gone 4-6 over their last 10 games while losing each of their previous three contests. Despite their recent struggles, few would bet against the Yankees' offense. They lead the American League in runs scored with 579 and their run differential of +92 also leads the AL by a sizable margin, so the offense isn't the issue here.
If we pair that offense with the fact that the Texas Rangers own a +66 run differential, fourth-best in the AL, there shouldn't be a shortage of offensive displays in this contest. A pitcher's duel is always possible, especially considering that Yankees LHP Max Fried (12-4, 2.62 ERA) and Rangers LHP Patrick Corbin (6-7, 3.78 ERA) will be on the mound. However, considering all the offensive power both teams have, going with the Over in this one would be a wise choice.

Cardinals vs Dodgers: West Coast Series Opener
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers: Dodgers -1.5 spread, +115 @ BetMGM
The Cardinals sit in fourth place in the NL Central despite being only one game below the .500 threshold, and it's hard to imagine them putting up much of a fight while playing on the road against a strong World Series contender in the Dodgers. With a -13 run differential throughout the campaign and a 4-6 record over its last 10, St. Louis should be a massive underdog here against a Dodgers team that is simply too good to continue struggling as much as it has done lately.
Los Angeles has gone 6-4 in its last 10 contests, and knowing the Dodgers have gone a solid 35-21 at home, they shouldn't have issues cruising against the Cardinals. Of note, no player in the active Cardinals roster has recorded a single hit against Dodgers RHP Tyler Glasnow (1-1, 3.38 ERA), who's slated to start Monday. Meanwhile, seven Dodgers players have hit at least .280 against the RHP Sonny Gray (10-5, 4.38 ERA) of the Cardinals.
