Cal Raleigh, SEA vs. CWS: More Than 0.5 Total Bases/ More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Raleigh kept rolling during Seattle's second straight eight-run output Wednesday, getting on base twice while driving in and scoring two runs apiece. The slugger is now averaging 2.4 hits + runs + RBI per game, and thanks in large part to his 42 homers, he's averaging 2.2 total bases per contest as well.
White Sox starter Shane Smith has allowed a .327 wOBA to left-handed hitters on the road, and Raleigh has a .338 wOBA and .284 ISO against righties at home, despite being hamstrung by an abysmal .176 BABIP in that same split. Both of these props are very achievable for Raleigh in a game where Seattle is projected for 4.8 runs.
Josh Naylor, SEA vs. CWS: More Than 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score
I'm doubling up on Mariners hitters with Naylor, another lefty-swinging option who's also been wielding a hot bat. Naylor went deep, drove in two runs and stole two bases for the second straight game Wednesday, and he has a solid .833 OPS in his first 12 games as a Mariner.
Naylor owns a .293 average and .843 OPS against right-handed pitching overall this season, and he has over 6.5 fantasy points in four of his last five games alone. Naylor's slotting as the cleanup hitter in Seattle's talented lineup leaves him primed for plenty of fantasy opportunities, considering the Randy Arozarena-Raleigh-Julio Rodriguez trio ahead of him, and the Eugenio Suarez-Jorge Polanco duo behind him.
White Sox relievers have also yielded a .290/.353/.452 slash line and .352 wOBA to lefty bats thus far in August, brightening Naylor's outlook.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa, PIT vs. CIN: More Than 0.5 Hits
Kiner-Falefa is the consummate professional hitter than can offer a bit of everything, and he comes into Thursday's matchup against Brady Singer having hit safely in 66 of his 99 games thus far this season. The veteran has actually been a bit better on the road, but Thursday, he's drawing a matchup he's enjoyed plenty of success in previously.
Kiner-Falefa has tormented Singer to the tune of a .429 average and 1.029 OPS in 17 career plate appearances, a sample in which he's struck out just twice. Kiner-Falefa boasts a modest 15.4 percent strikeout rate against righties at home as well, while Singer has allowed a .278 average and .337 OBP to right-handed hitters on the road while mustering a middling 6.0 K/9 in that split.
Carlos Carrasco, ATL vs. MIA: More Than 20.5 Pitcher Fantasy Score
Carrasco has looked like a different pitcher since being demoted by the Yankees to Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre and then eventually joining Atlanta. While still with New York's organization, Carrasco posted a 4-2 record, 3.27 ERA and 1.17 WHIP across 11 appearances (10 starts). He then turned in a quality start in his Atlanta debut last time out, allowing three earned runs on seven hits over six innings to the Reds last Thursday.
Carrasco generated 28 fantasy points with that outing, his second of at least 21 at the big-league level this season. The Marlins have a just a .215/.272/.383 slash line, .285 wOBA and -3.8 wRAA against righties on the road in the second half of the season (162 PAs), and Carrasco appears to be in a groove that's approaching two months at this point. This score is very much within his grasp against a team that doesn't come in particularly hot.
