Boston Red Sox vs San Diego Padres Betting Insights
I write about this from time to time where sometimes a number is posted and it just looked significantly off. We get that in this game with Walker Buehler against Nick Pivetta. The Padres are -185 favorites which I am on board with, but the total of 7.5 runs makes no sense to me. Buehler's numbers are not good, and his road splits are even worse (5.74 ERA, 1.60 WHIP overall, but 7.44 ERA and 1.87 on the road).
Pivetta gets a revenge game against the Red Sox. Hs season numbers of 11-3, 2.73 ERA, and 0.94 WHIP are strong, and he has been even better in his last 7 starts with a 1.01 ERA and 0.67 WHIP.
I am more inclined to just lay -1.5 runs on the Padres in this spot to get plus money. The Padres bullpen also makes this a strong play.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Los Angeles Dodgers Best Bets and Predictions
Baseball betting is all about value and we get great value on the Blue Jays on the road against the Dodgers. Let's face it, the Dodgers will always be favored at home unless its someone like Tarik Skubal vs. an opener.
The Dodgers are just 3-9 in their last 12 home games. They are 10-17 in their last 27 games overall while only hitting .231 and averaging 3.7 runs per game.
But Max Scherzer has been pitching well and the Dodgers just have slumped for a while now. The Blue Jays should be able to get to Dodgers' starter Clayton Kershaw.
I trust the Blue Jays overall in this game to grab a close win.

Athletics vs Baltimore Orioles Best Bets and Predictions
Give me the two of the lowest ranked starting pitchers (Tomoyuki Sugano versus J.T. Ginn) on the slate and a close moneyline which usually adds up to the best OVER totals play on the board.
Sugano has a 6.70 ERA and 1.79 WHIP since June 1 including a start against the A's where he lasted just 4.1 innings giving up 4 runs. Sugano's biggest issues are two-fold in that he gives up a ton of walks and homers.
The fly in the ointment on the game total going over is that Ginn's road splits are significantly better than his home numbers and I have to take a look at the A's team total because of it.
The prices on this game are interesting in that the A's are actually more of a favorite on the team totals of 4.5 runs. I really just want to isolate the A's against Sugano and you can get that at close to even at 2.5 runs.
