There were a lot of expectations on both teams coming into the 2025 season. The Mets started off strong, but have been playing poorly for quite a while now, going just 40-49 since June 1st. The Rangers started off slowly, but then got on a hot streak before slumping again. They are back on a hot streak going 15-5 in their last 20 and only a couple games out of the AL Wild Card race.
The Mets have lost 6 in a row and rookie pitcher Jonah Tong had a rough outing his last time out, allowing 3 homers. Jacob deGrom is on the bump for the Rangers and I will leverage him in this spot for a play on the Rangers F5 on the run line.

St Louis Cardinals vs Milwaukee Brewers Best Bets and Predictions

New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox Best Bets and Prediction
The Yankees have been playing great baseball, but a lot of that has been against weaker competition. The Red Sox have had some injuries to their lineup recently and it has impacted them, but they have owned the Yankees this season with a 8-2 record against them. They have also been a much better team in home versus on the road.
Luis Gil has typically gone about 5 innings per start and that is where the issue will be for the Yankees. The Red Sox should be able to get to this bullpen in the later innings Friday night.
Lucas Giolito has struggled recently, but his home splits are still very strong and enough to lean on here. Since June 10th (when the Red Sox pitchers met with Andrew Bailey), Giolito has pitched 39.1 innings at home with a 0.69 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.
This game reminds me a little of the Brayan Bello start against Max Fried where Bello was a +160 and higher dog. I have this line closer to EVEN so I will take the value with the Red Sox as the home dog.
