Best NBA Bets Today (Monday, Dec. 29)
Naz Reid over 2.5 made threes (+136) at Chicago Bulls
FanDuel, 4:38 PM CT
Alex Barutha: Over the past 10 games, the Bulls are allowing the fourth-most made threes per 48 minutes (15.1), and they're allowing the highest frequency of corner threes (12.7%) across the past two weeks. After a slow start to the season, Reid has found his stride. He's made multiple threes in 14 of the past 15 games, making 2.7 per game during this stretch.
Julius Randle over 26.5 points + assists (-120) at Chicago Bulls
DraftKings, 4:06 PM CT
Nick Whalen: Randle is coming off of an outlier assists game (11) against the Nets on Saturday, but he draws an excellent matchup against a Bulls team that's playing at one of the league's fastest paces while ranking 26th in defense over the last 10 games.
Devin Booker over 11.5 rebounds + assists (+103) at Washington Wizards
DraftKings, 4:06 PM CT
Nick Whalen: This is mostly a matchup play, as the Wizards rank in the bottom-five in both rebounds and assists allowed to opponents. I don't mind looking toward Booker's points prop, but this should be a strong facilitation spot for him, and with no Mark Williams (suspension), he should see more rebound opportunities.
Reed Sheppard over 18.5 points + assists (-120) vs. Indiana Pacers
DraftKings, 4:06 PM CT
Nick Whalen: The Rockets will be without Alperen Sengun, so they could look more toward Sheppard for offensive production off the bench. It's always going to be difficult to trust Sheppard's workload night-to-night, but he's coming off of 18 points and eight assists in 32 minutes without Sengun in Saturday's win over Cleveland. As usual, this is a pace-up spot for Houston against a bottom-10 Pacers defense.
