Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz: Thunder to cover -9.5 spread, -110 @ BetMGM
The Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (elbow) in this matchup, but that shouldn't stop them from covering the 9.5-point spread against the Jazz. There's a gulf of difference in terms of talent between the two teams, and the Thunder could rely on other game-changing players, such as Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, to win this game by a sizable margin. The Jazz will be playing at home, and it's worth noting that the Thunder have won by nine points or fewer in four of their last five wins. Still, we're taking the Thunder to cover the spread against a Utah team that recently lost by 34 points against the Knicks on Friday. The Jazz's last two losses have been by more than 25 points, and each of their previous four losses against the Thunder has been by nine points or more.
Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls: Warriors to win, -112 @ DraftKings
It's hard to find two teams that are more depleted in terms of depth than the Warriors and Bulls right now. The Warriors are without Stephen Curry (quadriceps) and are listing Draymond Green (foot) as questionable in an injury report that includes six players. Meanwhile, the Bulls have a whopping 10 players with injury tags -- the list consists of Coby White (calf), Isaac Okoro (back), Ayo Dosunmu (thumb), Tre Jones (ankle) and Kevin Huerter (thigh). The Warriors are slight favorites ahead of this game, and they should be able to take care of business despite playing on the second leg of a back-to-back set. They defeated the Cavaliers on Saturday, while the Bulls have been slumping lately and are coming off a loss to the Pacers on Friday. Expect a big game from Jimmy Butler as well, who's going to be facing his former team. The veteran forward should carry Golden State to victory against a Chicago team that is reeling while going through a six-game winless skid.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Luka Doncic over 49.5 points + rebounds + assists, -110 @ FanDuel
Doncic is set to return after a two-game absence following the birth of his child, and it's clear that he's going to be extra motivated for this matchup just for that reason alone. The body of work over the past few weeks also boosts Doncic's chances of surpassing this line. He has recorded at least 50 P+R+A in each of his last seven games, and he has a favorable defensive matchup lining up against Tyrese Maxey. Doncic has scored at least 30 points in seven straight games, and he should fill the stat sheet again when facing a Philadelphia team that ranks 13th in the NBA in defensive rating with 113.5. The Lakers own the league's sixth-best offensive rating (118.5) -- that's mainly due to Doncic's elite play.
