2025 Fantasy Outlook
Robinson's 2024 was perhaps the quietest 140-target season in NFL history, featuring a TE-like 4.8 aDOT and a RB-like 7.5 yards per reception. That might work well in PPR leagues if the catch rate was what one might expect given those other numbers, but Robinson brought in just 66.4 percent of his targets, down from 76.1 percent over his first two seasons. It was empty volume, brought on by the Giants often facing deficits and not being able to push the ball downfield. Improvement for the offense overall almost certainly would mean improvement for Robinson's efficiency numbers, but it would also figure to correspond with a big decrease in target volume. While good with the ball in his hands, Robinson has shown almost no ability to use his 4.44 speed downfield since the Giants took him 44th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft -- perhaps not surprising given that he's 5-foot-8, 185, with a 34.5-inch vertical. He's also a slot specialist in an offense where the No. 1 receiver, Malik Nabers, might be at his best working inside, which eventually could impact Robinson's playing time. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Six catches in Week 1 loss
Robinson caught six of eight targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 21-6 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Robinson averaged 41.1 yards on 8.2 targets per game in 2024, so his Week 1 stat line wasn't far from his customary production. Whether the Giants stick with veteran Russell Wilson in Week 2 against the Cowboys or turn to rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart under center after Sunday's ugly performance on offense, Robinson will continue to offer a high floor due to his significant involvement on short passes but have a limited ceiling due to his lack of downfield contributions.

A 2022 second-round pick, Robinson suffered an ACL tear midway through his rookie season. He came back last year and played 15 games but may not have been at full strength until late in the season. In Robinson's first 10 games, he surpassed 40 yards just once. Over his final four games, he reached 55 yards three times. Robinson was utilized as a possession receiver, mostly catching short passes out of the slot. His 5.1 aDOT was second shallowest in the league among qualified wide receivers, with Robinson gaining 57 percent of his yards after the catch. Going into his third year, Robinson should be healthy and stronger, but now Giants QB Daniel Jones is the one busy rehabbing an ACL tear. There's also increased target competition in the form of sixth overall pick Malik Nabers, who did much of his damage at LSU from the slot and may thus push Robinson out of his natural position at times.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could see more targets sans Nabers
Robinson would be in line to see more targets from Drew Lock on Sunday against the Saints if Malik Nabers is unable to play due to a hip flexor injury, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
If Nabers were to be sidelined Sunday, Raanan relays that Robinson would remain in the slot while Darius Slayon and Jalin Hyatt operate on the outside. Robinson is coming off a disappointing Thanksgiving Day performance against the Cowboys, as he finished with just two catches on as many targets for six yards. He's logged at least five catches in nine of 12 regular-season games and could be in line to see more targets from Lock on Sunday if Nabers is unable to play.
