Best NBA Bets Tonight

Josh Giddey over 8.5 rebounds vs. Atlanta Hawks (+105)

BetRivers, 4:14 PM CT

Alex Barutha: The Hawks are giving up the most rebounds per 48 minutes (49.7), but it's the type of player that's grabbing rebounds that's most interesting to me. Of note, Brandon Ingram had nine rebounds, RJ Barrett had eight rebounds, Ajay Mitchell had seven rebounds and Desmond Bane had seven rebounds against this team. With elevated rebounding numbers to wing players, I'm interested to see what Giddey can do in this matchup.

Donte DiVincenzo over 2.5 made threes vs. Denver Nuggets (-150)

BetMGM, 4:18 PM CT

Alex Barutha: With Anthony Edwards (hamstring) week-to-week, someone has to step up for Minnesota. While I think it will be a relatively balanced effort, I'm interested in DiVincenzo for this particular matchup. Denver is allowing the most three-point attempts per 48 minutes (46.1) this season, and DDV has taken 15 total triples across his past two matchups.

Derrick White over 1.5 blocks (+225) at New Orleans Pelicans

FanDuel, 3:45 PM CT

Alex Barutha: The Pelicans are the most blocked team per 48 minutes (11.9) in the NBA. White has five total blocks in three games and is one of the best guard shot-blockers. This game is also expected to be played at a relatively fast pace (231.5 O/U), which plays in our favor.

Walker Kessler over 1.5 steals (+240) vs. Phoenix Suns

DraftKings, 3:51 PM CT

Alex Barutha: Kessler has been extremely active defensively to start the year, with five total steals and four blocks through two games. This is a great opportunity to keep it going against the Suns, who are allowing the most opponent steals per 48 minutes (12.0).

Cam Thomas O2.5 made threes at Houston Rockets (-116)

DraftKings, 4:19 PM CT

Nick Whalen: Thomas is coming of off a monster game on Sunday, when he finished with 40 points on 25 shots, including 12 attempts from three. He's launched 22 three-point attempts over the last two games and will continue to fire away for a Nets team without much punch, offensively.

Deni Avdija O4.5 assists (+104)

DraftKings, 4:19 PM CT

Nick Whalen: The Blazers get the Lakers tonight with both teams on the second night of a back-to-back. LA is coming off of a win over the Kings, but I still have major questions about the Lakers' defense, and this should be a spot where Avdija can take advantage. He's gone over this number in each of the last two games, despite the Blazers struggling from the field, overall. Through the first week of the season, Avidja is averaging 12.0 potential assists per game.

Alperen Sengun under 22.5 points vs. Brooklyn Nets (-121)

DraftKings, 2pm EST

Ken Crites: Look, I love the Turkish Jokic, but with a 15.5 spread versus the Nets, I'm expecting a blowout.  Sengun deserves a break -- he's averaged 43.5 minutes over his first two contests. He might sit the entire fourth quarter. Also, Nic Claxton is the only Net that plays defense.  Sengun will defer to easier mismatches and rack up easy assists (at 6.5, BTW).  (I suspect the Nets will hide Porter on Adams).  Over 2+ seasons, the K-Train is 52-43, so feel free to fade!
