Justin Joly

North Carolina State Wolfpack
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Joly spent two productive seasons at UConn before transferring to NC State last fall to see what he could do at the power conference level. He proceeded to put together a career year, reeling in 43 passes for 661 yards and four touchdowns as the leading receiver on the Wolfpack. The 6-foot-3, 251-pound tight end is a big mismatch, and the Wolfpack take full advantage of that. Three of the top four receivers for NC State return this season, so this passing game should be primed to take another step. And with another offseason to develop chemistry with quarterback CJ Bailey, who was thrown into the fire as a true freshman last fall, Joly should remain the focal point of this offense and has a great shot to top his numbers from last year. There are not many power conference tight ends who are slated to be a bigger part of their offense than Joly in 2025 Read Past Outlooks

2024 Fantasy Outlook
A relative unknown entering 2023, Joly became the clear No. 1 target in UConn's passing attack last season, finishing the year second among tight ends in receptions (56) behind only NFL-bound Dallin Holker. Joly parlayed the season into a transfer portal upgrade in team context and competition, heading to Raleigh to join NC State with two seasons of eligibility remaining. While the tight end position hasn't been particularly fruitful for the Wolfpack in the last three seasons, the team hasn't boasted elite pass-catching ability at the position. Cary Angeline in 2020 displayed some of the upside to the position in the offense, racking up 27 catches for 412 yards and six touchdowns. Joly possesses the pass-catching ability to put up those kinds of numbers, and he's coming off the fantasy draft boards early for that reason.
