Limited as precaution
Hill (foot) will be limited to start camp for precautionary reasons, coach Zac Taylor said Monday, Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Hill had a walking boot on for voluntary workouts in May. He seems to have progressed in his recovery since then, but the Bengals have little reason to rush the veteran defensive tackle's return with the regular season over a month away.

Hill had another fine year as a starting defensive tackle for the Bengals, registering 51 tackles, 4.5 sacks and even two interceptions. However, when DJ Reader got hurt late in the year, the Bengals run defense suffered, as the depth alongside and behind Hill was lacking. The team added free agent Sheldon Rankins from the Texans and drafted Kris Jenkins from Michigan in the second round to address that, and to perhaps have Hill play slightly fewer snaps than the 746 he logged in 2023.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be cut
Hill could be cut this offseason to help the Bengals save cap space, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hill is entering the final season of a three-year, $30 million extension, and cutting him could save the Bengals $7.5 million in cap space. That would be vital in an offseason during which the team faces tough decisions regarding the futures of Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon and Tyler Boyd. Even if the cap space help elsewhere on the roster, losing Hill would be a tough blow for the defense, as the defensive tackle has played over 700 snaps in each of the last two seasons and has combined for 7.5 sacks and nine passes defensed in that span.
