2025 Fantasy Outlook
Davis started all 17 games for the second consecutive season last year, though the Eagles eased his workload somewhat, cutting his snaps by 26 percent. His numbers fell off as a result, as he slipped from 45 to 27 tackles, and from 2.5 to 1.0 sacks. With Milton Williams leaving in free agency, however, expect Davis' workload to tick back up this season, continuing his partnership with former Georgia teammate Jalen Carter. Read Past Outlooks
Gets massive three-year extension
Davis and the Eagles agreed to a three-year, $78 million contract extension Saturday that includes $65 million guaranteed, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
ANALYSIS
Per ESPN, the deal makes Davis the highest-paid nose tackle in NFL history, and it ensures that he'll be with the Eagles through the 2029 season. The 2022 first-rounder is coming off the most productive season of his four-year NFL career, finishing with 72 tackles (34 solo), including 4.5 sacks and six pass defenses over 17 regular-season games.

Davis didn't play a particularly large role as a rookie after being taken 13th overall in the 2022 Draft, missing four games and playing just 20 percent of the Eagles' defensive snaps. His snap share increased to 45 percent in his second season, and his numbers took a jump as a result. He bumped up from 18 to 45 tackles and from zero to 2.5 sacks while also forcing a fumble. The defensive tackle still didn't exactly fill up the stat sheet, but with more snaps available now that Fletcher Cox has retired, Davis could take another step forward in Year 3.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Shows promise this preseason
Davis has performed well this preseason despite issues with his cardio and endurance over extended defensive series, according to Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Davis showed stretches of dominance both as a pass rusher and run stuffer early on in games this preseason. However, pre-draft worries about the 336-pound defensive tackle's ability to stay on the field over the course of his games have popped up at times, per Baumgardner. If he can keep from burning himself out, Davis should become a force to be reckoned with for opposing interior offensive linemen in the years to come.
