2025 Fantasy Outlook
With injuries limiting Kenneth Walker down the stretch last season, McIntosh saw steady work out of the Seattle backfield for the first time, and he turned 27 totes into 156 yards (5.6 yards per carry) while backing up Zach Charbonnet over the final five weeks. McIntosh, a seventh-round pick in 2023, also had some success as a kickoff returner during that stretch, and he'll head into 2025 with a seemingly secure hold on the No. 3 running back job. It would take an injury ahead of him on the depth chart for McIntosh to get significant touch volume, however. Read Past Outlooks

Placed on IR
The Seahawks placed McIntosh (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
ANALYSIS
McIntosh was trying to defend his role from last year as the team's No. 3 running back, but his season will end before it started due to an ACL tear in the opening days of training camp. Damien Martinez and George Holani are now the favorites for the No. 3 job behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet.

How does the Steelers pass defense compare to other NFL teams this season?
The bars represents the team's percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their pass defense is. McIntosh won the battle for the No. 3 running back behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, beating out undrafted rookie George Holani. As a rookie, McIntosh served as a healthy scratch for most of the season because he failed to supplant DeeJay Dallas, which was partly attributed to Dallas' success as a returner. Considering McIntosh was a seventh-round pick and has yet to play on offense in the regular season, fantasy drafters probably can ignore him for now outside of deep formats.
