Oweh is coming off his best season to date and has the opportunity to have a career year going into the final year of his rookie deal. He recorded double-digit sacks for the first time in his career and forced a fumble as well. After posting just 10 total tackles and no sacks across his first five games this season, Oweh was dealt from the Ravens to the Chargers in early October. The 2021 first-round pick from Penn State found life in Los Angeles, recording 4.0 sacks in his first four games with the team. The 27-year-old also delivered a huge performance during the Chargers' wild-card loss to the Patriots, sacking Drake Maye three times while forcing two fumbles. Oweh has now compiled 17.5 sacks over the past two regular seasons and is set to hit unrestricted free agency, where he's expected to command a decent contract and step into another starting role in 2026.

Though Baltimore picked up Oweh's fifth-year option this offseason, this is still a pivotal year for the 2021 first-rounder. Oweh has not quite tapped into his immense potential through three seasons. At 6-5 with 34.5-inch arms and 4.39 speed, the tools are there for Oweh to thrive. 13 career sacks for an edge rusher shows that there's still a way to go for Oweh, however. There's risk in drafting Oweh given his track record, but those who believe in a breakout could be handsomely rewarded if he puts it all together.
