2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wirfs continued to profile as one of the elite all-around offensive tackles in the league in 2024. He missed just one regular-season game over the past two campaigns and once again will be charged with protecting Baker Mayfield's blind side once he recovers from offseason knee surgery. Wirfs (toe) has no injury designation ahead of Saturday's matchup against the Panthers, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The All-Pro tackle from Iowa upgraded from a DNP on Tuesday to limited practice sessions Wednesday and Thursday, suggesting he's moved past his toe injury in time to play in Saturday's must-win divisional contest. Now fully healthy, expect Wirfs to operate as Tampa Bay's top left tackle in Week 18.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Wirfs has already validated his selection as the 13th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft with his stellar play at right tackle, earning two Pro Bowl selections and one All-Pro nod as well over his first three seasons. The Iowa product is now taking his talents to the opposite side of the line at left tackle, where he'll have the all-important role of protecting his quarterback's blind side.

Returning to action in Week 15
OTTampa Bay Buccaneers
December 10, 2025
Wirfs, who missed the Buccaneers' Week 14 loss to the Saints due to an oblique injury, does not carry an injury designation into Thursday night's Week 15 matchup against the Falcons, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The All-Pro left tackle's absence was felt in the upset defeat at the hands of the Saints, as Baker Mayfield completed just 14 of 30 passes for 122 yards, averaging a minuscule 4.1 yards per attempt. Wirfs' return Thursday should certainly give Mayfield a more comfortable pocket and time to scan the field while potentially working with a full-strength receiver corps for the first time this season.
