Making PGA Tour start after LIV stint
Chacarra has been given a sponsors exemption into next week's Puerto Rico Open, Cameron Jourdan of GolfWeek.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Chacarra was a former top amateur and left Oklahoma State early to join LIV Golf back in 2022. He won early on the breakaway tour, but decided to leave prior to the 2025 season after citing failed promises, favoritism to stars and meaningless tournaments. Since then Chacarra has been grinding it out on the DP World Tour. He won the Hero Indian Open last March which was one of nine top-20s since the start of 2025. Now Chacarra will make his first start on the PGA Tour in a non co-sanctioned event.
