SLATE PREVIEW

Tampa Bay (vs. San Jose), Los Angeles (vs. NY Rangers), Dallas (vs. Boston) and Edmonton (vs. New Jersey) are the biggest favorites on the Moneyline. The over/under for Senators-Blue Jackets, Wild-Canadiens, Sharks-Lightning, Sabres-Predators and Devils-Oilers is 6.5 goals, while the remainder of the matchups anticipate 5.5 goals.

GOALIES

Tristan Jarry, EDM vs. NJD ($8,200): Since being acquired by the Oilers from the Penguins, Jarry has gone 4-0-1 with a 2.58 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He is coming off a 31-save performance in Saturday's 6-0 shutout win over Vancouver. With Pittsburgh last season, Jarry went 2-1-0 against the Devils, stopping 74 of 81 shots.

Joel Hofer, STL at WPG ($7,300): Hofer has won six of his past eight outings while allowing two goals or fewer five times and posting a .932 save percentage. He started that stretch with a 24-save effort in a 1-0 shutout win over his hometown Jets on Dec. 17.

VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS

Nikita Kucherov, TBL vs. SJS ($8,700): Kucherov has found the scoresheet in 12 of his last 13 outings. He has compiled 11 tallies, 17 helpers and 11 power-play points (three goals, eight assists) during that span. Kucherov had one goal on two shots and five points in a 7-3 win over the Sharks on Jan. 3.

Kirill Marchenko, CBJ vs. OTT ($7,000): Marchenko has generated four goals, 28 shots on target and 10 points in his past eight contests. He is riding a four-game point streak, having notched two markers and four helpers, going into Tuesday night's action.

Zach Hyman, EDM vs NJD ($6,800): Hyman has potted seven goals, including three with the man advantage, in his last seven appearances. He has added two assists and 23 shots on net during that span.

Vladimir Tarasenko, MIN at MTL ($3,300): Tarasenko has three goals on 12 shots and three assists during his three-game point streak. His recent offensive surge could make him a solid value play for Tuesday's slate.

FORWARD LINE STACK

Senators at Blue Jackets

Brady Tkachuk ($7,900), Dylan Cozens (C - $5,100), Ridly Greig (W - $2,900)

Tkachuk has two goals on 17 shots and four assists during his three-game point streak. He has one tally and two helpers on the power play during that span. Cozens has lit the lamp in three straight games while adding two assists and eight shots on net. Two of his goals and one helper during that stretch have come with the man advantage. Greig has assisted on four goals in his past three outings.

The trio should remain hot against a Columbus team that has allowed the second-most shots per game (31.0) this season. The Blue Jackets also rank 29th on the penalty kill.

DEFENSEMEN

Roman Josi, NSH vs. BUF ($6,000): Josi has compiled three goals and seven assists across his four-game point streak, including one tally and three helpers on the power play. He has posted a multi-point performance in each of those matches while adding 10 shots and five blocks.

Jake Walman, EDM vs. NJD ($3,900): Walman has chipped in two assists, including one on the man advantage, in his past two appearances. He has supplied seven shots and four blocks for some additional category coverage. Walman has been seeing time on Edmonton's top power-play unit.
