ANALYSIS
Goff will take part in his third UFC fight at the end of May and will fight the UFC newcomer Ko. Goff has not fought since he lost to Trey Waters (unanimous decision) last May, in part due to his fight versus Adam Fugitt in February being cancelled. Goff has a two-inch reach advantage on Ko.

Goff will no longer face Adam Fugitt at UFC Seattle on February 22, per James Lynch of SportsKeeda.com.

New fight in order
WelterweightUFC
January 27, 2025
Goff will take on Adam Fugitt in a welterweight bout at UFC Seattle on Feb. 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Goff was initially slated to take on Nikolay Veretennikov on Feb. 15, but that fight is no longer happening. Goff's new opponent Fugitt was also slated for a different fight, as he was set to face Islam Dulatov. Both fighters will have to adjust to a new opponent on the fly. Goff is 1-1 in the UFC, while Fugitt is 2-2.
Veretennikov up next
WelterweightUFC
December 3, 2024
Goff is scheduled to compete against Nikolay Veretennikov in a welterweight fight at UFC Vegas 102 on Feb. 15, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Goff will look to bounce back from a relatively inactive and rough 2024 that saw him log only one fight, a decisive loss to Trey Waters. In 2023, Goff won his lone fight then by finishing Yusaku Kinoshita with punches in less than two minutes.
Hangs tough in decision loss
WelterweightUFC
May 11, 2024
Goff lost to Trey Waters via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in St. Louis.
ANALYSIS
Both men had their moments in what as a was a back-and-forth war that went on to earn each a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus. In an attempt to close the distance between he and Waters -- the tallest welterweight on the roster -- Goff fired off a dozen takedown attempts. It was a very good plan, with the lone issue being Goff landed just one of those tries. That allowed Waters to connect with the more damaging blows and ultimately take the decision. Goff picked up knockout victories on both Dana White's Contender Series and in his first UFC bout last August, so his roster spot is plenty secure despite this setback.
Will face Waters
WelterweightUFC
March 2, 2024
Goff will take on Trey Waters in a welterweight showdown at a UFC event on May 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Goff, like his opponent Waters, is 1-0 in the UFC. Both are looking for undefeated starts to their UFC career, but Goff will have to contend with a fighter that has seven inches of height on him in the octagon. However, he's coming off a more impressive victory in his UFC debut, disposing of Yusaku Kinoshita via body punch to ground punches in the first round.
