Goff was initially slated to take on Nikolay Veretennikov on Feb. 15, but that fight is no longer happening. Goff's new opponent Fugitt was also slated for a different fight, as he was set to face Islam Dulatov. Both fighters will have to adjust to a new opponent on the fly. Goff is 1-1 in the UFC, while Fugitt is 2-2.

Goff lost to Trey Waters via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in St. Louis.

In an attempt to close the distance between he and Waters -- the tallest welterweight on the roster -- Goff fired off a dozen takedown attempts. It was a very good plan, with the lone issue being Goff landed just one of those tries. That allowed Waters to connect with the more damaging blows and ultimately take the decision. Goff picked up knockout victories on both Dana White's Contender Series and in his first UFC bout last August, so his roster spot is plenty secure despite this setback.
