ANALYSIS
Osbourne, who has lost his last three fights and has not won since February of 2023, will look to get back on track versus the newcomer. Gurule has yet to lose a fight in his career but Osbourne has a significant in reach and height. It's been a rough past couple years in the octagon for Osbourne, but he has a chance to get back on track in April.

Drops war at UFC 306
Osbourne lost to Ronaldo Rodriguez via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-29, 27-29) at UFC 306 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's nearly impossible to believe Osbourne lost this fight. And that's not to say he deserved to win. Ode landed a knockdown in Round 1 and followed that up with about the deepest triangle choke you will ever see. Try as he may, he was unable to get Rodriguez out of there. That predictably left Osbourne compromised the rest of the way. He was nearly finished himself in Round 2, only to appear completely recovered for the final frame. It turns out the best he could have done was a split draw, because two of the three judges gave Rodriguez a 10-8 score in the second frame. It ended up not mattering. Ronaldo deserves a ton of credit, but you simply cannot lose this fight if you're Ode given the massive trouble he had his opponent in on multiple occasions. Osbourne may very well walk away with a post-fight bonus for his effort, but his roster spot is also in deep trouble considering this was his third straight defeat dating back to August 2023.

Taking on Rodriguez in September
Osbourne will fight Luis Ronaldo Rodriguez at Noche UFC at The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 14, per Carlos Legaspi of ESPNDeportes.ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne will look to rebound from back-to-back submission losses when he faces Rodriguez in September. The more experienced Osbourne will be put to the test against the younger Rodriguez, though "The Jamaican Sensation" will enjoy a size and reach advantage in the fight.

No-shows Vegas loss
Osbourne lost to Jafel Filho via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:27 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
An absolute no-show from Osbourne for a second straight fight. There's literally not a single positive thing you can say about his performance. Ode was overwhelmed on the mat the entire bout, attempting just six total strikes of his own and landing one of them. He was, quite frankly, lucky to last until the closing stages of Round 1. Osbourne is a reckless brawler who is capable of a fun, effective performance here and there, but the results of late have been disastrous. With back-to-back defeats on his resume and a loser of three of his past four fights, Ode is likely in need of a win his next time out to extend his time with the company.
