Making his UFC debut, Ruchala, a former KSW standout, hung tough for about a round before Gomis began to take over. Ruchala managed to land a pair of takedowns for 4:36 worth of control time, but he did next to nothing with his positional advantage, finishing with just 34 significant strikes landed on 96 attempts.
