He now draws a UFC veteran in Oleksiejczuk, who happens to be on a three-fight skid, although each of those losses were against competition far better than the opponents Dumas has seen to date. Dumas will hold height and reach advantages, which will help in the striking game, though attacking Oleksiejczuk's 48 percent takedown defense might be prudent as well.

Facing an opponent who entered having suffered three straight stoppage defeats, Dumas' most effective offensive attack was pinning Tiuliulin up against the cage. He also tired significantly in Round 3, losing the frame on two of the three scorecards. Dumas is athletic and a reasonably effective striker, but he doesn't appear to have one single elite skill to fall back upon in the event of trouble. Dumas has fought a whopping five times since debuting in March 2023. He's 3-2 with the UFC.
