PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
GOALKEEPER
Robert Almer, AUS v. HUN:Rui Patricio of Portugal will likely be the chalk play, and while Almer isn't going to be low owned, the small savings will be helpful to fill in other positions.
DEFENDER
Christian Fuchs, AUS v. HUN: Fuchs does a solid job of crossing the ball in open play, while also winning a fair number of tackles and intercepting passes. If Alaba is too expensive, Fuchs could be a decent pivot.
Attila Fiola, HUN v. AUS: The clean sheet possibility is very low, but Fiola contributes much more than that, as his 27 tackles won during the qualifying matches were tied for the most of any player. He'll chip in with a few other peripheral stats, though it's worth noting he does cross that much.
Vierhinha, POR v. ICE: Vierhinha is expected to start ahead of Cedric Soares, though either one is a worthy option with Portugal expected to dominate.
MIDFIELDER
Balazs Dzsudzsak, HUN v. AUS: No one sent in more crosses in qualifying than Dzsudzsak, whose 115 were nine more than second-place Kevin De Bruyne. Amazingly, he had only one assist on all those swings into the box. Thankfully, he also takes plenty of shots, as his 39 were bested by only five players

Zlatko Junuzovic, AUS v. HUN: Junuzovic led Austria in crosses during qualifying and actually takes more corners than Alaba. He wins a decent number of fouls and takes a solid amount of shots, which will come in handy against an overmatched Hungary side.
David Alaba, AUS v. HUN: Alaba is much more of an attacking player for Austria as he is for Bayern Munich, so don't be thrown off by the idea that he's a centerback (he plays in the midfield for his country). He'll be on some set pieces and has a number of highlight goals on his resume. With Austria a heavy favorite as well, the three-point clean sheet bonus is very much in play.
Gylfi Sigurdsson, ICE v. POR: Fantasy Premier League players will know of Sigurdsson's dominance of the Swansea attack, and he plays a very similar role for Iceland, as he'll be on all set pieces and will likely be heavily involved in any open play attempts at goal. His six goals in qualifying tied him for ninth-most overall, and he led Iceland in goals, crosses, shots, shots on target and tackles won.
FORWARD
Cristiano Ronaldo, POR v. ICE: You may have heard of him. He scores a lot of goals. Many people argue he's the best player in the world. He's worth every penny of whatever ridiculous price he's given on any fantasy site. Don't hesitate, especially on a small slate.
Nani, POR v. ICE: The Manchester United castoff is a very important part of Portugal's attack, particularly because he takes most of their corners, and with Ronaldo around to take shots, there could be plenty of corners to be taken.
Marc Janko, AUS v. HUN: Janko led Austria with seven goals during qualifying, though his 19 shots were fifth-highest on the team. I think the name recognition of Marko Arnautovic (at least for fantasy Premier League players) will draw people there, giving Janko a little more value in GPPs with lower ownership.
