Caoimhin Kelleher
27-Year-Old
Brentford
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kelleher had been the long-term backup for Liverpool, starting 10 games each of the last two seasons. He now gets the chance to be an unquestioned starter after making the switch to Brentford to replace Mark Flekken. Kelleher has shown plenty of potential as a backup, keeping four clean sheets and only conceding 12 goals in 10 matches last season. Brentford don't have the most rigid defense, conceding 57 goals last season, which means Kelleher could be busy for the Bees. Last season, Flekken made a ridiculous 153 saves to go with seven clean sheets. It's unclear how he will handle the heavy shot volume, but Kelleher has been one of the better backups in the Premier League and is at the very least an intriguing option as a starter.
Beaten twice in loss
Kelleher had no saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-0 defeat versus Nottingham Forest.
ANALYSIS
There wasn't much Kelleher could've done on the two goals he conceded -- a close-range volley from Igor Jesus and a clever finish from Taiwo Awoniyi. Kelleher won't have it easy in the upcoming matches, as Brentford is scheduled to visit Aston Villa and Newcastle United before facing Arsenal in their upcoming three contests.
