2025 Fantasy Outlook
Anderson made the move to Nottingham Forest from Newcastle last summer and immediately found a role, capturing a regular spot in the midfield. He started 33 of his 37 appearances for almost 2,800 minutes, numbers he was never going to see at Newcastle. Still, in terms of fantasy, he was stuck in more of a holding role for the majority of his minutes, limiting him to two goals from 40 shots and six assists on 37 chances created. A split role of set pieces helped his floor and will be something to target in the new season. Given that he found more of his footing in the latter half last campaign, it's reasonable to expect more goals and assists in 2025/26.
Six chances created in defeat
Anderson recorded one shot (zero on goal), 13 crosses (six accurate) and eight corners in Sunday's 2-0 defeat against Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Anderson started as one of the two deeper midfielders against Brighton on Sunday and was a central figure in Forest's improvement after halftime. He helped them push higher up the pitch, recycling possession and winning free kicks that allowed the hosts to sustain pressure. The midfielder delivered a season high of six chances created to go with eight corners but they couldn't lead to a goal. Anderson still has provided one assist in his 13 Premier League appearances for a total of 24 chances created, an unfortunate ratio highlighting the lack of efficiency of Forest in the final third.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Top target for Citizens?
Manchester City are leaning toward signing Anderson instead of signing Adam Wharton to bolster their midfield, according to The Daily Mail.
ANALYSIS
With Rodri struggling with injuries and Bernardo Silva likely to leave the club in the near future, Manchester City seem destined to try to sign a midfielder in the summer. They rate Anderson higher than Wharton, although they could move for both players.
