In early-October, Valeri suffered an ankle injury that cost him nearly a month of action. He became available on Nov. 8 but did not start right away, with Parma opting to give him two reserve appearances before the team's starting XI added him back Saturday. In terms of quantity, Valeri excelled, logging his season-high in shots and a relatively big cross tally. But for both, the wing-back lacked accuracy, which he should rectify moving forward.
