Emerson was the top choice left-back for the majority of the season, though injuries and some poor form cost him minutes in the closing stages. He finished with two goals and one assist, a bit disappointing given that he a split role on sets for a period. There's a chance he may not be a favorite of manager Graham Potter and he never reaches the levels of 2023/24 when he started 35 matches. But, if he can get there and West Ham improve as a team, there's no question better numbers are possible for Emerson as a wing-back.
