Signs with Mazatlan
Ovalle will join Mazatlan from Chilean side Deportes Concepcion for the Clausura campaign, the club announced Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Ovalle will look to reinforce the Canoneros' attack as an option mainly on the left wing but also capable of playing in the opposite side or as a striker. Last season, he registered four goals and three assists in 21 games played (18 starts) while averaging 1.4 shots and 1.1 chances created per game in the Chilean second division. He could be used in place of either Dudu Teodora or Mauro Zaleta but might have limited value as part of a weak squad.
