2025 Fantasy Outlook
Mitoma's third season in Brighton saw him set a bevy of new bests, including 10 goals and 2,608 league minutes played. Even with the bevy of options in the squad, Mitoma seems to have a set role on the left wing to himself, at least when fully fit. Assuming that's the case again, 15 goal contributions are in play, if not more. As always with Mitoma, though, those are likely to come in bursts with plenty of dry spells such as his nearly two-month period without a goal contribution in the middle of last season.
Missing from call
Mitoma (ankle) is out for Sunday's match against West Ham.
ANALYSIS
Mitoma is not with the team after his setback, as the attacker is still on the outside looking in due to his ankle issue. This is rough for the attacker, as he last played over two months ago, hoping his return can come soon and ahead of Christmas.

Small setback, could be back

"[Kaoru] is still an option, so let's see if he's able to train today. He had a small setback during the training session, not a big one, so hopefully he can train today and then for sure we try to make him as quick as possible an option for us."

Doesn't have clear timeline
Mitoma (ankle) was spotted on the pitch earlier in the week but doesn't have a clear timeline to return, coach Fabian Hurzeler said in the press conference. "It's not an easy thing to predict. In the last international break I said it's just a question of two or three weeks. But now he's getting close. He has to handle the pain, so it's not a big issue, everything is healed, so he should be fine. We just have to see how he can handle the pain."
