2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cook was rock solid at the heart of the Bournemouth midfield yet again last season, though he was shifted to right-back for a spell due to a variety of injuries. His one goal and three assists is about what he's produced across nearly a decade and that's not going to change in 2025/26. He's never going to be a top offensive contributor, but he should remain a regular after finishing just 22 minutes short of 3,000 last season. His split role on set pieces keeps him relevant in fantasy, though a lack of shooting caps his upside a decent amount.
Won't return before break
Cook (hamstring) is set to miss several weeks and won't return before the international break, coach Andoni Iraola said in the press conference, according to BBC Radio Solent Sport.
ANALYSIS
Cook picked up a hamstring injury in training last week and an MRI confirmed he is set for a multi-week spell on the sidelines. The midfielder is not expected back before early April, dealing a real blow to the Cherries given his status as a locked-in starter in the engine room. His absence now clears the runway for Tyler Adams to regain the starting role he held before his own injury setback.

Suffers hamstring injury
Cook missed Saturday's 0-0 draw against West Ham United due to a hamstring injury, coach Andoni Iraola said in a press conference, according to the Bournemouth Echo. "Yesterday he felt something training. Still, we haven't assessed him properly. We haven't done the MRI, but it doesn't look big, but I think there has to be something there. I think it's in the hamstring, and that's the reason he was out today. We will have to wait for the MRI and see if it's something small, but I think there is an injury there."
