Omar Marmoush
26-Year-Old
Manchester City
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Marmoush came to City during the 2024/25 campaign and didn't slow down from his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, using his explosiveness and creativity to score seven league goals in 14 starts. He started more centrally when needed and on the wing toward the end of the season when Erling Haaland returned from injury. This is a spot that should remain going forward with Haaland taking most of the minutes up top. One question for upside will be a role on set pieces, something that doesn't seem to be decided at City sans Kevin De Bruyne. If Marmoush at least takes a split of sets when on the pitch, that would add another level to his offensive game in 2025/26.
Available after duty
Marmoush is back available for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Glimt after ending his international duty with Egypt at the AFCON, the club posted.
ANALYSIS
Marmoush is in the squad list for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Glimt after ending his international duty at the AFCON with Egypt. The forward is an option moving forward for the Citizens and is expected to see a decent playing time in upcoming weeks since coach Pep Guardiola said in pressers that Erling Haaland was tired and needed some rest. This will allow Marmoush to see more playing time as the backup of the Norway international.
