2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cazorla made 32 appearances (26 starts) in the 2024/25 season, contributing three goals and five assists in league play. Despite his age, he remained one of Oviedo's most creative players and played a key role in the club's promotion push. His ability to stay available over the course of the season was crucial. Even if he stays fit again in 2025/26, it's hard to see Cazorla being a factor in La Liga, soon to be 41 years old. He'll get minutes based on leadership, but the quality in the top flight may be a little too much for him to be a regular in the XI again.
Sees red Friday
Cazorla was shown a red card and sent off during Friday's clash with Mallorca.
ANALYSIS
Cazorla was originally shown a yellow card before a VAR review determined he had committed a red-card worthy foul. The midfielder will now be suspended for a Sunday trip to Sevilla and could be suspended further. Alberto Reina could be in line for the start with Cazorla suspended.
