Despite facing heavy pressure due to a shaky back line, Herrera held his own in 2024/25. He made 132 saves across 37 starts, finishing with eight clean sheets while conceding 52 goals. Maybe most importantly, he wasn't in a battle for starts with backup Aitor Fernandez, and that should again be the case in the new season. With Osasuna missing out on European competition, he'll have fewer midweek games to manage and more recovery time. If the defense improves after an up-and-down campaign, Herrera could push toward 10-plus clean sheets, making him a potential value pick among keepers in 2025/26.
