Will undergo knee surgery Saturday
Boniface is set to undergo a knee surgery on Saturday and will miss the rest of the season, Head of Professional Football at Werder Bremen Peter Niemeyer said. "We are pleased that we now have a solution and that Victor will have the operation. This provides clarity for all parties. Due to the rehabilitation process, we no longer expect Victor to play for Werder this season."
