Best NBA Bets for Sunday, November 9, 2025
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Sacramento Kings: Anthony Edwards over 3.5 three-pointers made, -106 @ FanDuel
Edwards missed four games due to a hamstring injury between Oct. 27 and Nov. 3. Even though he was eased back into action against the Knicks on Nov. 5 -- limited to 15 points in 29 minutes --he showed he's fully recovered after a 37-point outburst against the Jazz on Friday in a 137-97 win. It's not surprising to see Edwards hover around the 30-point mark on a steady basis, though his efficiency from beyond the arc stands out. He's made at least three treys in each of the games in which he's logged at least 25 minutes and is hitting them at a 50.0 percent clip. The uptick in efficiency in 2024-25, when he made a career-best 39.5 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc, was no fluke. Edwards seems to have the body of work, the hot hand, and the favorable matchup to believe he can hit at least four three-pointers for the second game in a row -- and for the third time in six appearances this season.
Brooklyn Nets vs. New York Knicks: Jalen Brunson over 36.5 points + rebounds + assists, -113 @ DraftKings
The Knicks are massive favorites in this battle of New York against the Nets, but if they're going to secure the victory here, they need Brunson to step up and dominate. The star floor general came close to posting a triple-double the last time out after notching 23 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in a 137-114 win over the Timberwolves on Nov. 4. He's shown the ability to fill the stat sheet regularly through his first nine regular-season appearances this term. Brunson has posted three games with at least five rebounds, four with at least seven assists, and four in which he's cleared the 30-point plateau. Putting it all together might be the issue, but he showed signs of being able to do so against Minnesota. The Nets should be a favorable matchup for Brunson and the Knicks, so perhaps the lone issue that might hamper this line is whether Brunson is limited in the event of a possible blowout. But when it comes to the numbers, Brunson has reached this line of over 36.5 P+R+A in six of his eight games so far in 2025-26.
Indiana Pacers vs. Golden State Warriors: Over 228 total points, -110 @ Hard Rock
The Pacers have seen three of their last four games end with under 225 points, so on paper, it's hard to see them being involved in a high-scoring matchup against the Warriors -- especially if the previous head-to-head meeting delivered 223 total points on Nov. 1. However, the Pacers need to turn things around on offense, as they're a much better unit than they showed in the loss to Denver on Friday in the first leg of this back-to-back set. Even though five of the Pacers' nine games have had under 228 total points, the Warriors have been putting up some high-scoring games of late. Four of their last five have had over 225 total points, and their last two have seen over 230 total points despite the absence of Stephen Curry (illness). There are players who need to step up on both teams, so we're confident this game will hit the over, even if that means we're going against the recent trends.
