Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Friday that Horford will likely be limited to 20 minutes per night this season, according to Warriors reporter Joseph Dycus.

Horford believes he'll end his career with Golden State, Nick Friedell of The Athletic reports. "Yeah, I think so," Horford said when asked if the Warriors would be his last NBA team. "I think at this point in my career, where I see everything, that is my expectation, just to be here."

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Saturday that he likes Horford's fit with the starters, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Podziemski is hoping to make major strides in the mental side of the game ahead of the 2025-26 season, according to Nick Friedell of The Athletic. "There's a next step in evolving emotionally, and as a leader," Podziemski told The Athletic. "Having confidence from your teammates is one thing, especially the vets, but them trusting you in big moments that could define their career. Could add another piece to their career. For them to have trust in you is a different thing, and you got to earn that over time, and I think that's a goal of mine going into this season."

Horford is quickly developing chemistry and a rapport with Stephen Curry, according to Nick Friedell of The Athletic. "It's a level of awareness that I've never really had to think about before," Horford said of playing with Curry. "But when I'm on the floor with him, the whole mindset is trying to make the game easier for him. And for me, that is either getting him the ball, or setting a good screen, or doing anything that I can to make sure that our offense moves and flows."

Head coach Steve Kerr feels Kuminga can play a role with the Warriors this season, according to Marc J. Spears of Andscape. "I keep telling him is he can play a role for us, absolutely, with his size, speed and athleticism. He can play an important role on a very good team."

Curry, who was signed to an Exhibit 9 contract Tuesday, is expected to be waived before re-signing with the Warriors in mid-November, according to NBA reporter NBA reporter Marc Stein.

Kuminga isn't expected to be with the Warriors when the team opens training camp on Tuesday, Sep. 30, according to Anthony Slater and Shams Charania of ESPN.

Kuminga and the Warriors haven't reached an agreement on moving back the Oct. 1 qualifying offer deadline, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Wednesday that trade talks for Kuminga were resumed between the Warriors and Kings earlier this week.

Kuminga's agent, Aaron Turner, said on the Hoop Collective Podcast Wednesday that his client may just accept Golden State's qualifying offer of $7.9 million.

Kuminga is willing to accept the Warriors' latest contract offer if the third-year team option is switched to a player option, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.

The Kings are still in pursuit of Kuminga and believe that the forward wants to play for them, Sam Amick of The Athletic reports.

The Bulls aren't expected to sign Kuminga before the start of the 2025-26 season, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

The Warriors and Kuminga remain far apart in negotiations over a new deal that would bring the forward back to Golden State for the 2025-26 season and beyond, according to Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Curry acknowledged that the Warriors have "a really good team" but also stated that there's a "need for some pieces to help get us to the next level," according to Sam Gordon of The San Francisco Chronicle.
