The 2025-26 NCAA Men's College Basketball regular season has another nice weekend of matchups, including a top-20 battle at noon with Arkansas and Texas Tech in an old Southwest Conference rivalry game. At 4 p.m. EST, Nebraska and Illinois meet in a Big Ten ranked showdown, while Arizona and Alabama clash in a neutral-floor battle in Birmingham.
We're here to help provide a trio of picks on select days throughout the week, hopefully helping you get into the black, as we head into the holidays and the new year. It's never too early to start squirreling away money for March Madness.
College Basketball PrizePicks Picks & Strategy
If you're unfamiliar with how to play, you must simply choose at least two players from any sport and pick more or less based on their projected statistics to win. We'll obviously be exclusively selecting college hoops players, but you can mix and match from various other sports. You can also go with a flex play, meaning you still can have a winning night even if you have one losing selection. Or, you can go big and choose the power play, which pays out higher. However, you must hit all ends to win. Let's get started.

Jackson Shelstad, G, Oregon
At 4 p.m. EST at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon, the Ducks host the UC Davis Aggies on BTN. It's still hard to get used to, even in Year 2, seeing a game like UC Davis and Oregon on Big Ten Network. But, anyway...
Shelstad and his Ducks teammates should find plenty of open spaces against the leaky defense of the Aggies. UC Davis is allowing 82.0 PPG, while teams are hitting 43.4 percent against them from the field, and 33.3 percent from behind the arc.
Shelstad went for 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting at UCLA against a very, very good defense, and he has gone for 20+ points in four of his past seven games. On his home floor, he is averaging 19.0 PPG in the past three outings, too. Let's go high, and do so with confidence.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Jackson Shelstad, More 16.5 Points
A.J. Staton-McCray, G, Seton Hall
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights of the Big Ten conference meet the Seton Hall Pirates of the Big East conference in a neutral-floor battle at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on FS1.
Staton-McCray is the leading scorer for Seton Hall with 13.9 PPG in 10 games, while hitting 39.6 percent from behind the 3-point line, and 44.7 percent from the field. He has scored 12 or more points in eight straight games, including a 16-point effort at Kansas State last time out in an outing where he didn't have his 'A' game. He was just 3-of-15 from the field, and 1-of-7 from behind the three-point line, but he got to the free-throw line a season-best nine times. He has 16+ points in four of the past five outings.
Against Rutgers, Staton-McCray will face a defense which allows 72.3 PPG, while allowing a 43.6 percent field-goal percentage and a dismal 37.4 percent mark from behind the three-poinht line, among the worst defensive marks in the nation. Look for Staton-McCray to shine.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: A.J. Staton-McCray, More 13.5 Points

Mario Saint-Supery, G, Gonzaga
The freshman from Malaga, Spain went for 13 points, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes against North Florida last time out last Sunday.
However, in his previous three games against top-tier competition, Saint-Supery went for five points against Maryland on Nov. 25 in the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas, five points against Michigan on Nov. 26 in the Players Era Championship Game, and six points against Kentucky in the Music City Madness.
Saint-Supery and the Bulldogs will be facing another power-conference team, UCLA, at 11:30 p.m. EST at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The Bruins are a top-tier defense, allowing just 65.0 PPG, 17th in the nation, while teams are hitting just 40.7 percent from the field against them.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Mario Saint-Supery, Less 6.5 Points
