To kick off the Bowl season, DraftKings and FanDuel are combining the LA Bowl with the annual Army-Navy game, in the 126th meeting between the two teams. The Army-Navy game has an early start at 12:00 p.m. ET, so you'll need to get your entries in beforehand.
College Football DFS Saturday Main Slate Overview

Although the Army/Navy game has quality options at quarterback and running back, the totals for this game are historically low, and Vegas numbers bear that out once again. We also need to steer clear of receivers in the Armed Forces duel, and instead focus on what the wideouts from the LA Bowl can offer. When deciding between a few options, make the LA Bowl your tiebreaker. There are many more DFS opportunities to be had in that matchup.

Quarterback
Demond Williams,
Washington (DK $8,300, FD $11,600) vs. Boise State
While Williams is commanding a high salary on FanDuel, the differential isn't significant compared to the other available options. The Huskies look like they will be at full strength for the bowl game, and although rumors are swirling again about coach Jedd Fisch's future, it shouldn't be a distraction. Williams' dual-threat capability should fare well against Boise State's defense, which struggled to contain dual-threat passers like Anthony Colandrea and Byrum Brown.
Blake Horvath,
Navy

Blake Horvath,
Navy (DK $7,800, FD $10,800 vs. Army
Like Williams, Horvath can burn you with his legs as well as his arm. However, Navy's focus is primarily ground-based. Army's run defense is solid but not superior, and although they've been tough in the red zone, they've allowed teams into that range far too frequently to be effective. While I favor Williams if you are only opting for one quarterback, Horvath is an excellent play for the Superflex spot.
Running Back
Jonah Coleman, [LOGO[Washington (DK $5,500, FD $11,000) vs. Boise State
I won't use Coleman on FanDuel, but his salary is hard to beat on DraftKings. Coach Jedd Fisch has stated that despite Coleman's injury struggles, he expects Coleman to play and be the team's primary back, which dilutes the value of Adam Mohammed immediately. Mohammed was already overpriced due to the possibility of Coleman's full return, and I would assume that Coleman wants to deliver a worthy performance for the NFL scouts who will be on the lookout.
Alex Tecza,
Navy (DK $6,300, FD $7,600) va. Army
While I wouldn't fault anyone for considering Eli Heidenreich, Tecza has been the back lighting up the boards over the past couple of weeks. Tecza bested Heidenreich by a significant margin against USF and Memphis, and while there's plenty of opportunity for both backs, I'm inclined to go with the recent data and rely on Tecza's snap count.
Also consider: Dylan Riley,
Boise State (DK $7,200, FD $8,600) vs. Washington, Sire Gaines,
Boise State (DK $4,800, FD $7,000) vs. Washington
Wide Receiver
Denzel Boston,
Washington (DK $6,800, FD $9,800) vs. Boise State
Boston is my favorite Husky wideout, but you can justify a stack here with Dezmen Roebuck (DK $5,000, FD $8,400) or Omari Evans (DK $4,400, FD $6,600). I predict that this unit will likely be the team with the most dependable set of wideouts on the slate, so sprinkle them liberally with Boston as the top priority.
Latrell Caples,
Boise State (DK $5,300, FD $7,600) vs. Washington
Recent injury struggles have capped Caples' production, but I still think he'll emerge as Maddux Madsen's favorite target. The Broncos spread production around quite a bit, so Boise State wideouts carry some risk, but Caples' upside is well worth his current salary.
Army and Navy wideouts are high-risk options, so you should restrict your WR options to the LA Bowl.
