The Monkeys got back to their winning ways Saturday, scoring five runs in two innings off Brothers' starter Esmil Rogers to send him to the showers early. They'll turn to 34-year-old lefty Wang Yi-Cheng in the rubber match. The southpaw has won all three of his starts thus far this season, striking out 19 and walking five in 19.1 innings of work. His start against the Brothers in his previous turn in the rotation back on May 2 was his worst of the year, as he gave up five runs (four earned) in 5.1 innings, but the Monkeys' offense did enough to earn him the win. For their part, the Brothers will trot out veteran lefty Jose De Paula. The Dominican hasn't provided anywhere near the performances the Brothers would expect from one of their precious few foreign players spots. He's gotten worse with each subsequent start, allowing two, four, five and then finally eight runs his last time out, which came in a loss to the Monkeys on May 3. He gave up 12 hits in five innings in that contest.

Wang Yi-Cheng, Monkeys: The pitcher choice is a relatively easy one in this contest. Wang has been far better than Jose De Paula this season, and he won't have to face the excellent Monkeys' lineup.
Lin Hung-Yu, Monkeys: With struggling lefty Jose De Paula on the mound for the Brothers, we're looking for a right-handed hitter on the Monkeys to use as captain. Lin fits that bill very well, as the cleanup hitter owns an excellent .423 batting average so far this season.
Chen Chun-Hsiu, Monkeys: Fellow right-handed bat Chen makes for a strong alternative choice to Lin. Batting typically one spot behind Lin, he owns a .386 batting average on the year, slightly better than his .381 mark from last season.
Chan Tzu-Hsien, Brothers: The right-handed Chan is surrounded by left-handed bats atop the Brothers lineup, making him the best captain choice for those predicting a Brothers victory against lefty Wang Yi-Cheng. The outfielder has scored five runs in his last four games.
