After a fine start to the three match ODI series, the Women in Blue will be eager to seal the series when they meet the English side for the second game at the Wankhede Stadium. India's veterans Ekta Bisht, Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj had combined together in the first game to help the hosts register a comfortable 66-run win over a strong English side.

However, India have a number of areas to work on, especially on the batting front. Their middle order woes are no secret, and the home team will be eager to put up a better show in the second game. The English side however, has enough firepower to make a strong comeback. They had the upper hand in both the innings in the first game and would be hoping to come back stronger.

Player Recommendations:

Wicket-keeper: Sarah Taylor (9.5 credits)

Taniya Bhatia bats way too down in the order - sometimes even coming in at number 8 - and hence Taylor is a better pick among the keepers for the Dream11 team. Batting at the top, Taylor has time and again played some aggressive and memorable knocks for her team, and she will be hoping to get some runs under her belt after being out of the game due to personal reasons.

Batsman: Jemimah Rodrigues (8.5 credits)

The youngster made her debut just a year ago but has impressed with her mature batting and her ability to play a calm innings when the team is under

Batting at the top, Taylor has time and again played some aggressive and memorable knocks for her team, and she will be hoping to get some runs under her belt after being out of the game due to personal reasons.

Batsman: Jemimah Rodrigues (8.5 credits)

The youngster made her debut just a year ago but has impressed with her mature batting and her ability to play a calm innings when the team is under pressure. She scored two fifties in the tour of New Zealand and played a fine hand with Mandhana more often than not. Even when she was unable to get a fifty-plus score, Rodrigues was able to get good starts, which benefited the team immensely. Back on familiar terrain, the batter will be hoping to notch up her first ODI ton.

All-rounder: Natalie Sciver (9.5 credits)

There are some all-rounders in the women's cricketing realm that have been making waves with their consistent showing - Australia's Perry, New Zealand's Devine and England's Sciver are some names. The 26-year old strikes the ball at 98.63 and bowls with an economy rate of less than 4.5, which makes her a real threat. With 37 wickets and 1450 runs to her name at an average of 38.15, Sciver could be the X-factor in the upcoming game.

Bowler: Ekta Bisht (8.5 credits)

After being overshadowed by Poonam Yadav, Bisht has staged a remarkable, scalping 9 wickets in four games. In New Zealand, when the conditions were not in her favour, Bisht showed great maturity by bowling stump-to-stump and around the legs of the rival batters. Her deceptive googlies led to her success, and in Mumbai, when the conditions were not as hostile, she showed off her abilities by picking up 4/25 in the first ODI.

Captain: Natalie Sciver

Vice-captain: Sarah Taylor
