The conference championship round of the playoffs means we have our final two-game DFS slate of the season. It's a bit of a tricky one with the Broncos starting a backup quarterback after losing Bo Nix (ankle) last week. Let's examine the FanDuel NFL DFS slate and highlight some of the top players to consider when crafting your lineups.
The Games
| Over-Under | Road Team | Road Team Total | Home Team | Home Team Total |
| 42.5 | Patriots | 23.5 | Broncos | 18.5 |
| 46.5 | Rams | 22.5 | Seahawks | 23.5 |
The matchup between the Rams and Seahawks has the highest total, and the Rams and Patriots have the highest team totals.
Value Options
Kayshon Boutte, NE at DEN ($6,000): Finding value is difficult at this point in the season. The teams that are still alive in the playoffs often have among the best defenses in the league, while teams also lean on their star players more. The Broncos have been stingy on defense, but Boutte still has upside. He had an average depth of target of 16.7 yards during the regular season, which helped him average a career-high 16.7 yards per reception. After catching four passes for 66 yards against the Chargers in the first round, he had three receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown against the stout Texans' secondary last week. It might only take a couple of deep passes for him to be worth his salary.
Blake Corum, LAR at SEA ($5,900): Kyren Williams led the way for the Rams last week, rushing 21 times for 87 yards and two touchdowns. That left just six carries for Corum, who finished with 19 yards. When Corum faced the Seahawks in Week 16, he ran 14 times for 48 yards and one touchdown. Including last week, Corum has received at least 11 carries in five of his last seven games. The potential for double-digit carries at least puts him in the value discussion at running back.
Other Value Options
RB TreVeyon Henderson, NE at DEN ($6,700)
WR Marvin Mims Jr., DEN vs. NE ($5,900)
WR Cooper Kupp, SEA vs. LAR ($5,800)
TE AJ Barner, SEA vs. LAR ($5,200)
Stacks to Consider
Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Matthew Stafford ($8,300) did not record a touchdown against the Bears last week, which broke his streak of 12 straight games with at least two. In two meetings with the Seahawks, he recorded five total touchdowns, including Week 16 when he threw for 457 yards in Seattle. With his talent and the weapons around him, it's not difficult to make an argument that he is the most appealing quarterback on the slate.
The question for a Rams stack is whether to pair Stafford with Puka Nacua ($9,800) or Davante Adams ($8,000). Adams is a favorite red-zone target for Stafford, and he has a cheaper salary, so rolling with that duo isn't a bad idea. However, Nacua brings a much higher floor. On his way to setting career-highs across the board this season, he had a 28.5 percent target share for the Rams, while also accounting for 28.8 percent of their air yards. Across the two games he faced the Seahawks, he totaled 19 receptions for 300 yards and two touchdowns.
High-Price Hero
Kenneth Walker III, SEA vs. LAR ($8,000): The Seahawks will finish their playoff run without Zach Charbonnet (knee), who was an important part of their offense, especially when they reached the red zone. Over his final nine games of the regular season, he received 30 red-zone carries compared to 14 for Walker. Even with that in mind, Walker had a touchdown both times he faced the Rams. With Charbonnet leaving early last week against the 49ers, Walker had three touchdowns. He comes into this matchup with a high floor and significant upside.
The Smash Spot
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA vs. LAR ($9,400): The Rams allowed the 10th-most receptions to wide receivers during the regular season, and they gave up 16 touchdowns to the position. One of those end-zone trips was from Smith-Njigba, who caught eight passes for 96 yards and a touchdown against them in Week 16. In Week 11, he had nine receptions for 105 yards. Although Smith-Njigba disappointed with just three receptions and 19 yards versus the 49ers, he did score a touchdown. Part of the problem was the Seahawks didn't need to attempt many passes because they raced out to a big lead early. In what should be a closer matchup, Smith-Njigba has the potential for double-digit targets.
