Who Are The Most Valuable WRs in the NFL This Year?
Few NFL wide receivers have done more out of the gate than the third-year star from BYU.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has racked up 616 receiving yards on 54 catches this season (despite missing the Oct. 19 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London) and snagged two touchdowns. Nacua is on pace for his second 1,000-yard season in three years in the league, a year after falling just short (finishing with 990 yards on 79 receptions).
This year, Nacua's efficiency has hit another level, as he's currently averaging the fewest dollars per yard gained ($1,658), with a salary cap hit of $1.1 million this season, according to OverTheCap.com data. To date, Nacua's averaging 102.7 yards per game for the 5-2 Rams, putting him on pace for 1,746 yards. That would rank ahead of his breakout rookie campaign in 2023, where he had 1,486 yards on 105 catches for coach Sean McVay's club.
At DraftKings Sportsbook, Nacua has +1100 odds to be named NFL Offensive Player of the Year, third on the operator's board, as of Oct. 28.
Kayshon Boutte (New England Patriots)
The former LSU Tigers star wideout has taken off during his third NFL season. Kayshon Boutte has 431 yards and five scores on 23 catches for the 6-2 Patriots, nearly catching up to his 15-game total from 2024, when he had 589 yards on 43 receptions. This year, Boutte's dollar per yard gained figure of $2,336 ranks second overall behind Nacua, coming on the backs of the $1.086 million cap hit that the 23-year-old is set to earn in his third season as a member of the Patriots.
George Pickens (Dallas Cowboys)
After three stellar seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, George Pickens' first year with the Dallas Cowboys has been one to remember. The 24-year-old has 43 catches for 685 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 85.6 yards per game. Throw in Pickens' cap hit of $3.658 million in 2025 and you have the recipe for value, with a dollar per yard gained figure of $2,464, third on our list.
Romeo Doubs (Green Bay Packers)
After three largely pedestrian seasons, 2025 appears to be one to remember for
Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs. He has 350 yards and four touchdowns (matching last season's TD total) on 27 receptions. He is averaging 50 ypg, better than his career high of 46.2 in 2024. Doubs' $3.584 million cap hit makes him a great bargain for Packers fans, fourth for dollars per yard ($3,102) in 2025, as Green Bay looks to build on the team's 5-1-1 start to the season.
Tre Tucker (Las Vegas Raiders)
Like Doubs, Tre Tucker has had a breakout season with 29 catches for 389 yards and four touchdowns for the Las Vegas Raiders. Tucker is averaging 55.6 yards per game after entering this season with 66 catches and 870 yards in 33 games over his first two seasons. Tucker carries a cap hit of $1.456 million for a dollar-per-yard gained figure of $3,409, ranking fifth leaguewide. He has made the best of a bad situation in the Sin City, as the third year wideout out of Cincinnati shines for the last-place Raiders.
