Giants vs. Commanders Betting Odds, Picks and Predictions for Week 15
The bottom two teams in the NFC East face off during Week 15 when the Giants host the Commanders. Both teams are out of the playoff picture, so this isn't exactly an exciting matchup. Let's try to spice things up by highlighting three wagers to consider for the game.
Mike Barner's season record: 44-40 (-4.98 units)
Giants vs. Commanders Betting Odds
Giants: Spread -2.5 (-110 FanDuel), -134 Moneyline (FanDuel)
Commanders: Spread +2.5 (-105 Bet365, BetMGM, DraftKings), +124 Moneyline (DraftKings)
Game Total: Over 46.5 (-105 FanDuel), Under 46.5 (-110 Bet365, BetMGM, DraftKings, Fanatics)
Jayden Daniels (elbow) has been ruled out for the Commanders, paving the way for Marcus Mariota to make another start. Zach Ertz is also out after tearing his ACL last week. The Giants are relatively healthy coming out of their bye week, although Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder) has yet to practice this week, and he is in danger of missing his fourth straight game.

Giants vs. Commanders Betting Picks
Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Over 50.5 rushing yards (-115 BetMGM)
Rodriguez did not practice Wednesday because of a groin injury. However, he practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, which is encouraging for his chances of taking the field Sunday. Officially, he is listed as questionable. As of the time of this writing, there has been no indication that he is in danger of missing this matchup.
Rodriguez only received 10 carries with the Commanders getting crushed by the Vikings last week, but that was the most on the team. He still finished with 52 rushing yards. He is averaging 4.6 yards per carry for the season and has surpassed rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt on the depth chart. The Giants have given up 6.10 yards per carry to running backs, so with the expectation that Rodriguez surpasses 10 rushing attempts in this matchup, the Over the way to go for his rushing yards prop.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. - Over 12.5 rush attempts (-137 DraftKings)
Tracy received 10 carries in the Giants' Week 13 loss to the Patriots before departing with a hip injury. Luckily for him, the team had a bye in Week 14. The time off has been all that Tracy needed, as he has been a full participant in practice.
Prior to Week 13, Tracy had received at least 14 carries in three straight games. In his first two games after Mike Kafka was named interim head coach, Tracy was given 19 and 20 carries. The Giants are in a favorable position to win this game at home against the injury-depleted Commanders, so Tracy could receive plenty of carries along the way.
Giants Over 2.5 team total touchdowns (-140 DraftKings)
The Patriots have given up just 18.5 points per game, but the Giants still scored two touchdowns against them in Week 13. Jaxson Dart was back under center, which is key because of the dynamics that he brings both with his arm and with his legs. Dart himself has accounted for at least two touchdowns in all but one game since taking over as the starting quarterback.
The Commanders limited the Giants to six points in Week 1. That feels like decades ago. Russell Wilson started that game, and the Commanders had aspirations of making the playoffs. Coming into this matchup, the Commanders have allowed an average of 27.2 points per game, which is the fifth-highest mark in the NFL. They might have problems keeping Dart and company out of the end zone.
Giants vs. Commanders Prediction
Both of the Giants wins this season have come at home. The Commanders are 1-6 on the road. The Giants are in much better shape on the health front right now, and they have their starting quarterback in the fold. In a game that likely won't be one for the highlight reel, look for the Giants to earn the victory.
Score Prediction: Giants 27, Commanders 24
