Best NFL Week 16 PrizePicks Plays
Best PrizePicks Picks current as of 7:30 AM ET Sunday.
Bryce Young 15 Fantasy Score (MORE)
The Buccaneers, as mentioned in a previous article, have long been a pass-funnel defense under head coach Todd Bowles. While they started the year more respectable than usual, over the last five games they were absolutely torched by opposing quarterbacks -- most recently Kirk Cousins -- and ceded the most points to signal callers by a wide margin.
Tampa Bay's lack of pass rush doesn't do their secondary any favors, and they will be down starting corner Zyon McCollum in Week 16. That will force Benjamin Morris into increased snaps, and the rookie has routinely been beaten this season, especially in zone coverage. Expect Young to capitalize.
Quinshon Judkins 61.5 Rushing Yards (MORE)
Weather conducive to a run-heavy game plan? Check. Both backups ruled out? Check. A strong matchup for ball carries? Again, check. What more do we need?
Shedeur Sanders has shown enough as a passer that defenses can't simply stack the box, as he can beat them over the top. That should give Judkins just enough room to break loose. After a couple of underwhelming performances on the ground, I expect Judkins to see a big snap count and bounce back in a big way.
Gardner Minshew 212.5 Passing Yards (MORE)
I understand why this one might get overlooked -- no Sidney Rice, the Chiefs out of playoff contention and a game that feels like a "nothing burger." However, this sets up as a sneaky good spot. Minshew is playing for future opportunities in the league and gets a matchup against a defense allowing among the most passing yards over the last five weeks.
Minshew ha proven to be a capable quarterback, and I believe he still has enough weapons to top this number in an Andy Reid offense that simply can't run the football.
