Best NFL Week 17 PrizePicks Plays - Monday Night Football
Best PrizePicks Picks current as of 8:45 AM ET Monday.
Kyle Pitts 54.5 Receiving Yards (LESS)
I'll be looking to make this play closer to kickoff, as the number is likely to inflate as the day goes on. Pitts has been excellent with Kirk Cousins under center and Drake London either sidelined or limited by a knee injury, but the Los Angeles defense is a different animal. They're elite at generating pressure with just four rushers. While that might seem like it could lead to plenty of short looks for Pitts, the ability of the Rams to get pressure without blitzing allows them to take away the underneath game, which affects both Pitts and Bijan Robinson.
If London -- who is questionable, per RotoWire's NFL Injury Report -- suits up, that's just a bonus. Even with less defensive attention going to Pitts in this scenario, I still think the reduced target volume gets us home.
Matthew Stafford 269.5 Passing Yards (MORE)
This number is lower than some might expect, and I think the game script and game plan are baked in with the Rams being 7.5-point road favorites. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if head coach Sean McVay and Stafford are motivated to keep pushing in pursuit of the MVP. With Drake Maye's five-score showing Sunday, we could see Los Angeles throw more than usual in neutral situations -- and potentially air it out later in the game even if it's not necessary.
Atlanta is best attacked through the air, so the Rams shouldn't mind leaning on Stafford even with Davante Adams likely remaining sidelined.
Konata Mumpfield 23.5 Receiving Yards (MORE)
In the first full game without Adams, Mumpfield's snap count remained around 50 percent, but his routes run jumped from the 15–19 range up to 26. He turned that into three receptions for 40 yards on eight targets -- second only to Puka Nacua.
I really like this number, as I expect Mumpfield's role to continue growing without Adams. Even with the Rams heavily using three-tight-end sets, there should be enough volume beyond them and Nacua for Mumpfield to make an impact.
