NFL Picks and Props for Week 6

The 2025 National Football League steams into Week 6. The Sunday slate kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET in London with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, and it will wrap up at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET with a marquee battle between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

It was a rough time in Week 5.  RB Omarion Hampton getting injured did us no favors, since had a pair of picks on him. That's just the way it is sometimes. Let's get back into the black as we head deeper into October and the fall. Let's get started!

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers Prop Plays

*Best lines at time of writing listed

In Week 6, the Cincinnati Bengals are starting QB Joe Flacco, acquired earlier in the week from the division rival Cleveland Browns

After QB Joe Burrow went down early in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a Grade 3 turf toe injury, QB Jake Browning did well against the Jags. Unfortunately he then started 'browning'; that is playing like the Cleveland Browns as he tossed eight picks in his three-plus games of action. He wasn't particularly inept, but he just made too many mistakes. Enter Flacco, the veteran, who will try to save Cincinnati's season. But, can he?

Flacco did beat Green Bay already this season, going 21-of-36 for 142 yards, no touchdowns and one pick against the Packers in Week 3. Perhaps it's recency bias, as the Bengals like Flacco after he went for 290 yards and a TD in Week 1 against Cincinnati in Cleveland. But, he had just two TDs and six picks in his four games, so how is he better than Browning? He might be worse.

Take Flacco, who is learning the Cincinnati offense on the fly, to throw at least one interception. It should be a certainty.

Best Prop Pick: Browns QB Joe Flacco - 1+ Interceptions (-164 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins Prop Plays

I could be wrong, as it has been known to happen once or twice - ha. But, the Bolts head to South Florida for the cross-country trek, and they'll be without rookie RB Omarion Hampton, who landed on the Reserve/Injured list this past week due to a left ankle injury.

I might be a bit biased, as Hampton went to Cleveland High School (N.C.), which is about a mile away from my house, and where my kids have matriculated. They even have a trophy case dedicated to the former UNC superstar running back. I like following Hampton on his pro journey, but he is down for a while.

Fantasy managers and bettors have been trying to determine whether it will be Hassan Haskins or Kimani Vidal doing a lion's share of the work in the L.A. backfield. I think the answer is Haskins, as he is a Michigan man, and head coach Jim Harbaugh has comfort with him because he coached him in Ann Arbor, rather than Vidal, who is not as familiar with the boss.

That being said, the Dolphins have allowed an NFL-high 871 rushing yards and 5.6 yards per carry (YPC). It isn't a bad idea to go lightly on both Chargers backs to go over their projections.

Best Prop Pick: Chargers RB Hassan Haskins Over 38.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Best Prop Pick: Chargers RB Kimani Vidal Over 30.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

Los Angeles Rams vs. Baltimore Ravens Prop Plays

This is unusual, but the Baltimore Ravens defense is horrific. They made moves this week to shore things up, acquiring S Alohi Gilman from the Los Angeles Chargers to help out on the back end, and veteran C.J. Gardner-Johnson was also added, although it remains to be seen if he comes up to the 53-man roster, or stays on the practice squad.

Baltimore hasn't been very good stopping the run, either, allowing 732 yards on the ground on 156 attempts, which is 4.7 YPC, with eight rushing TDs allowed. That's tied for the second-most rushing scores allowed.

Look for Rams RB Kyren Williams to get into the end zone at least once. It's what he does. He has just one rushing score this season, but he also has three receiving scores.

Best Prop Picks: Rams RB Kyren Williams Anytime TD Scorer (-165 at FanDuel)

Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Prop Plays

On Monday night, the Bears invade the nation's capital for one of the two Monday night games.

Washington has health issues in the receiving corps, with WRs Noah Brown (groin, knee) and Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) already ruled out, and Deebo Samuel (heel) nursing a bruised heel, and a big question mark.

Rookie RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt continues to see his role in the offense expand, culminating with 14 carries, 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Chargers last week. But, overlooked, was his two grabs for 39 yards, including a 28-yard catch and scamper.

The rookie known as "Bill" has been getting more attention as a pass catcher out of the backfield, mostly out of necessity, with the receivers banged up. He should at least be able to get to double digits in yardage on Monday, as the receivers are still a mess.

Best Prop Picks: Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt Over 8.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)
