NFL Picks and Props for Week 9
The 2025 National Football League regular season heads into November, and for the second straight weekend, we do not have any European games. That changes for the next two weeks. However, we have four teams on a bye, leaving us with a total of 12 games to choose from for props on Sunday. Let's get started!

Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers Prop Plays

The Panthers head to Lambeau Field in Green Bay for a 1 p.m. ET tilt on FOX. The Packers rushing defense has been stout this season, allowing just 552 yasds and 3.7 yards per carry (YPC) through seven games. In addition, the Packers are 3-0 at home, allowing 18 or fewer points in each of those games, while winning by an average margin of 10.7 points per game (PPG).
All signs point to this being a rather lopsided game, and the Panthers getting away from a ground-based offensive attack early on.
Carolina juggled the depth chart a bit this week, as it was announced that RB Rico Dowdle would likely assume the workhorse duties, with RB Chuba Hubbard settling into more of a backup role. Dowdle exploded for big yardage in Hubbard's absence, and in a timeshare, he has outproduced Hubbard in the past two games.
However, we're going to go low on Dowdle's rushing yardage total against the Packers, as he is not likely to gobble up huge chunks of real estate on the not-yet-frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
As for the other side, Packers RB Josh Jacobs has been a scoring machine. He is working on a four-game streak with at least one rushing touchdown, and he has nine TDs in seven games played this season. The Panthers have allowed nine rushing scores this season, while conceding 4.6 YPC, seven runs of 20+ yards, and two rushes of 40+.
Jacobs is going to get his in terms of yardage, but the better play is going with the Anytime Scorer prop, even if you have to eat a little chalk.

San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants Prop Plays
It has to be hard being a Giants fan. It seems they're just not allowed to have nice things. It wasn't like they were exactly killing it with WR Malik Nabers and RB Cam Skattebo, but at least they had two fun building blocks, giving Big Blue Nation some hope.
Nabers is long gone to an ACL, and Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle against the Eagles last week, ending his season. So, who will be the big dogs in the offense now?
Second-year RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. reclaims his starting job, with journeyman Devin Singletary also seeing more touches and responsibilities. But, I expect the guy who sees more runs will be rookie QB Jaxson Dart, i.e. running for his life.
Dart rushed for 54 or more yards in his first three starts, and he has scored four touchdowns in the past five games. For the chance to more than double up, you have to play Dart as an Anytime TD scorer.
On the 49ers side, RB Christian McCaffrey has been good with his running, and even better in the passing game. The Giants allow an NFL-worst 5.7 YPC with 10 rushes of 20+ yards allowed, and 3 runs of 40+, with 10 rushing touchdowns allowed. In other words, it's going to be a big day for CMC.
Let's take the Over on his Rushing + Receiving Yards, and we'll take CMC to find the end zone at least once, too. However, ONLY play the McCaffrey TD Scorer prop in concert with at least one other prop or play. It is foolish to risk two or more times your potential return on a single play.

Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys - MNF Prop Play
We're going to squeeze in a prop play for Monday night. Generally, I focus on a couple of games on the Sunday slate, but I don't like the Arizona Cardinals backfield situation.
Reportedly, Michael Carter was running with the first-team offense in practice Thursday and Friday despite being on the practice squad. While head coach Jonathan Gannon said Bam Knight would be the first back out there, it sounds like a timeshare situation, which also involves the returning Emari Demercado.
It will be a hot-hand situation, where Gannon sticks with the tailback doing the most. I don't like Knight's prospects of hitting a threshold of 48 or more rushing yards. Go low.
