Nashville Predators at St. Louis Blues

The Predators (16-16-4) and Blues (14-16-8) meet at Enterprise Center in St. Louis at 8 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed or streamed on ESPN+.

These teams have met twice this season, with both meetings in December. Nashville routed St. Louis 7-2 as moderate favorites (-135) on Dec. 11 in the Music City as the Over (5.5) cashed, while the Predators won again 5-2 at Enterprise Center as slight favorites (-115), also as the Over (5.5) cashed.

In the most recent meeting, Filip Forsberg had a hat trick, as he scored an even-strength goal, a power-play goal and an empty-net goal, while Michael Bunting and Reid Schaefer also chipped in with goals.

For the Blues, only Dalibor Dvorsky provided any offense, including a power-play goal. Joel Hofer coughed up four goals, while Juuse Saros had two goals on 22 shots.

The Preds have won three straight games, while going 8-3-0 in 11 outings in December. The Under is 3-1 in the past four outings.

St. Louis lost 4-1 at Tampa Bay in their final game before the break, and has alternated losses and wins in each of the past seven games, going 3-4-1 in the past eight outings. The Under is 3-1 in the at four for the Blues, too.

Let's take the Predators, as they've dominated this series, and we'll go low on the total.

Edmonton Oilers at Calgary Flames

The Oilers (19-13-6) and Flames (15-18-4) renew acquaintances in the Battle of Alberta at Scotiabank Saddledome at 10 p.m. EST.

These teams met just before the break, with the Oilers blasting the Flames 5-1 as moderate favorites (-150) as the Under (6.5) hung on.

In that win by Edmonton, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins opened the scoring, with Leon Draisaitl posting a power-play goal. MacKenzie Weegar had an even-strength goal to provide Calgary's only marker. In the second, it was all about Edmonton, as Draisaitl had the PPG, and Zach Hyman had a goal. Draisaitl scored his third PPG in the third period, giving him the hatty. Hyman finished with a goal and three points, while Connor McDavid helped out on all five goals. Evan Bouchard had two assists, too.

That was all the help Connor Ingram needed, as he holds down the fort with Tristan Jarry on the Injured Reserve list. Dustin Wolf allowed five goals on 39 shots in the loss. That's the expected goaltender matchup in this reboot in Calgary.

Let's roll with the Oilers, and that devastating power play, while going low on the total.

Oilers ML (-128 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Under 6.5 Goals (+100 at Bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings and Fanatics Sportsbooks)

Colorado Avalanche at Vegas Golden Knights

The Avalanche (27-2-7) and Golden Knights (17-8-10) meet at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas at 10 p.m. ET, also on ESPN+.

These teams met on Halloween, with the Avalanche doubling up the Golden Knights 4-2 as moderate favorites (-130) as the Under (6.5) cashed. Colorado has won three in a row in this series dating back to Nov. 27, 2024, with the Under 3-0 in each of those meetings, while going 7-3 in the past 10 installments.

Mackenzie Blackwood (11-1-1, 2.16 GAA, .924 SV%, 2 SO) and Carter Hart (4-1-2, 2.48 GAA, .903 SV%) are likely to be in between the pipes in an attractive goaltending matchup.

Let's go low on the total, and you can't go against the Avalanche until they start to show signs of slowing down.

Avalanche ML (-142 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Under 6.5 Goals (-125 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
