SLATE PREVIEW
At minus-210, Colorado is the heaviest favorite tonight in its matchup against the Rangers (plus-172), per FanDuel's moneyline. Los Angeles (minus-176) and Tampa Bay (minus-162) are considered the next two biggest favorites against San Jose (plus-146) and Edmonton (plus-134), respectively. The majority of the games have an over/under of 6.5 goals, but St. Louis-Philadelphia, Seattle-Chicago and Los Angeles-San Jose have an over/under of 5.5.
GOALIES
Scott Wedgewood, COL vs. NYR ($8,000): Wedgewood is on a six-game winning streak in which he's allowed just 11 goals on 166 shots (.934 save percentage). That's continued his dominant start to the campaign -- he's 11-1-2 with a 2.17 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 15 outings.
Yaroslav Askarov, SJS vs. LAK ($7,600): The moneyline might paint the Kings as clear favorites in this game, but San Jose might not be getting enough respect after factoring in Askarov's recent play. He's 5-1-0 with a 1.31 GAA and a .959 save percentage across his past six appearances. Los Angeles is tied for 26th in goals per game with 2.75, so the Kings might struggle against the hot hand.
Andrei Vasilevskiy, TBL vs. EDM ($7,300): Vasilevskiy's not a bad gamble for the price. He's been a mixed bag this year, but he has won his past two starts while stopping 53 of 55 shots (.964 save percentage). Meanwhile, Edmonton has dropped three of its past four games to fall to 9-9-4 this year. The Oilers are also playing in their third road game in four days, so Edmonton is grinding through a tough part of its schedule.
VALUE PLAYS
Tyler Seguin, DAL at VAN ($4,700): Seguin is on a three-game scoring streak and has collected four goals and seven points across his past seven outings. Aside from a cold spell from Oct. 23-Nov. 4 (one goal in seven appearances), he's been a pretty productive member of the Stars this year.
Brock Nelson, COL vs. NYR ($4,500): Nelson will enter Thursday's action amid a three-game scoring streak (two goals, four points). He still has an underwhelming nine points (five goals) through 19 outings this year, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him pick up the pace after recording at least 56 points in each of the previous four regular seasons.
Connor McMichael, WAS at MON ($4,000): After setting a career high with 57 points during the 2024-25 regular season, McMichael recorded just four points (one goal) through 17 outings in 2025-26. However, he seems to have turned a corner with a goal and six points over his past three outings.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Red Wings vs. Islanders
Dylan Larkin (C - $7,400), Alex DeBrincat (W - $7,600), Lucas Raymond (W - $7,000)
This is one of the hottest trios in the league. Larkin is on a five-game scoring streak in which he's contributed four goals and six points, which brings him up to 12 goals and 24 points through 20 outings this season. That's good, but Raymond's 10 points (two goals) across his own five-game scoring streak is even more impressive. The 23-year-old Raymond has six goals and 22 points in 18 appearances in 2025-26.
DeBrincat's scoring streak is a touch shorter at four games, but it's no less impressive given his five goals and eight points over that span. He's up to nine goals and 23 points in 27 outings this year.
Panthers vs. Devils
Anton Lundell (C - $6,100), Brad Marchand (W - $7,500), Mackie Samoskevich (W - $4,600)
Could you imagine what a disaster this start would have been for the Panthers if they hadn't re-signed Marchand? The injuries have left the Panthers' record at a mediocre 10-8-1, but it'd be so much worse if the 37-year-old wasn't playing some of the best hockey of his career.
Marchand has eight goals and 12 points across his past eight games, propelling him up to 13 goals and 23 points through 18 outings in 2025-26. Lundell has stepped up to help him, collecting two goals and seven points in his past six outings, which gives him five goals and 16 points in 19 appearances this year.
By contrast, Samoskevich has been so-so offensively with two goals and nine points in 19 appearances. If you can afford the upgrade, swap him for Sam Reinhart (W - $6,700), who has three goals and eight points over his past four outings. Reinhart plays alongside Marchand and Lundell with the man advantage, even if the trio isn't expected to share the ice at even strength.
DEFENSEMEN
Cale Makar, COL vs. NYR ($7,300): Makar provides elite forward-level production from the blueline. He has six goals and 25 points through 19 appearances this year, including two goals and seven points across his active five-game scoring streak.
Quinn Hughes, VAN vs. DAL ($6,600): Hughes has missed time this year, but he's remained productive when in the lineup, providing a goal and 20 points through 16 outings. He's been otherworldly lately, collecting 10 assists over his past three appearances.
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs. CLM ($5,900): Rielly has been a steady contributor this season with three goals and 16 points over 19 outings. He's been held off the scoresheet just once in his past nine outings (one goal, 10 points).
