Seeing them involved in high-scoring contests isn't a surprise, with four of their six competitive outings hitting over two goals.
Royale Union SG have been outstanding defensively with four consecutive clean sheets in all competitions, but they're not used to playing against teams of PSV's caliber. The Belgian outfit might be good enough to find the back of the net at least once, doing so in all but one of their eight competitive fixtures in 2025/26, but they might lack the quality to slow down PSV's attack, led by Ricardo Pepi and Ivan Perisic. Expect this game to be one with lots of goals and constant action on both ends.

Athletic Club have an underrated squad and could compete with almost any team in the world, but Arsenal might be just too good for them. Plus, the Basque side will be missing two key pieces in Yeray Alvarez (suspension) and Nico Williams (hamstring), and that could prove to be too much for them against one of the top squads in the Premier League.
Arsenal bounced back nicely from their 1-0 loss to Liverpool with a convincing 3-0 home win over Nottingham Forest, giving them three wins with clean sheets through four Premier League contests. Even with William Saliba (ankle) being doubtful and Bukayo Saka (hamstring) out, Arsenal should have enough quality to breeze past Athletic Club and open their campaign with a solid win on the road.

Juventus' defensive line looked impenetrable in the opening two matches of the 2025/26 Serie A season. That wasn't the case in their last game against Inter Milan, and although the match ended with a 4-3 victory for the Bianconeri, the cracks on the defensive zone were noticeable.
That could be a worrying sign against a Dortmund side that is closer to Inter's level than that of Juventus' previous two opponents Parma and Genoa. Their offensive potential is beyond any doubt, but will they be able to slow down Serhou Guirassy and company after struggling to contain Inter's attack only a few days ago?
Dortmund generated some doubts after their 3-3 draw against St. Pauli in the 2025/26 Bundesliga opener, but they've won their recent two matches by multiple-goal margins with ease. Niko Kovac's men are looking stout on both sides of the ball early on, but they've yet to meet a side with Juventus' quality in the final meters.
Not having Niklas Sule (calf), Nico Schlotterbeck (knee) and Emre Can (groin) means Dortmund will be short handed defensively, so it's hard to see them keeping another clean sheet in this visit to the Allianz Stadium. This is shaping up to be a game where the lack of sharpness on both defenses could translate to a high-scoring affair.
Marseille at Real Madrid Betting Odds & Best Bet
Vinicius Junior to score anytime +100
Kylian Mbappe is stealing all the attention thanks to his impressive start to the season with Los Merengues, but Vinicius can't be overlooked. The Brazilian winger didn't score in the 2-1 win at Real Sociedad the last time out, but he recorded three goal contributions (G2, A1) in his previous two league outings. He seems as dangerous as ever, even if the end product isn't always there. The star winger should be one of Real Madrid's biggest offensive weapons in this UCL opener, and it's a competition where he often thrives.
With 21 goals over 34 UCL appearances over the last three seasons, it would be wrong to believe the Brazilian won't be one of Madrid's go-to attacking weapons against a Marseille side that has failed to keep a clean sheet in three of its first four outings in the 2025/26 Ligue 1 campaign. The French side will probably plan to limit Mbappe's influence, but if that's the case, Vinicius could be ready to pounce on any chance he has.
