The midfielder doesn't have a lot of offensive upside in this Palace system, but when fit he's a constant in the starting XI, cycling possession and occasionally taking set pieces. Wharton struggled with a hip injury throughout last season, but he got a surgery to hopefully correct the issue permanently.
